The After School Program

Goal: To build on student's classroom skills in literacy and math, and be enriched with supplementary activities that closely align with their grade-level benchmarks and their classroom curriculum.

The C4D After School Program is a school based enrichment program that makes homework completion and comprehension our top priority.  Students are not only assisted with homework, but are also given supportive material that coincide with the national benchmarks used within their daily curricula. These activities aim to have students become familiar with the lessons and concepts learned throughout the school day, so that they are better equipped to understand their homework.

Lessons are strategically develop off of one another, and are customized to be an extension of the material currently taught in class. We strengthened by an environment that encourages a desire to learn.

We place a strong emphasis on the fundamental standards of homework, such as paper headings, neatness, and legible handwriting, in order to instill the importance of having pride in one’s work. Our students are supported by our caring staff members whose top priority is to foster an environment of active learning that encourages a personal desire to learn and succeed.
