LIPZ BY AHSIYA: OUR SHOOTING STAR

 

Change 4a Dollar values the recreational services we provide  to  our  students,  but  we're  not all fun and games! Along with academic success and leadership, a large majority of our mission is to promote financial literacy and instill entrepreneurial skills in to our youth. This is why we're very proud and honored to highlight one of our long-time students who not only learned something from financial lessons, but also uses these concepts in her very own, every day  life!

 

Ahsiya Williams, a 10 year old student at Universal Bluford School, is an entrepreneur.  Stemming from her love of makeup, she began  her  own  lip  balm  and  gloss  company, called  Lipz by Ahsiya. With the strong support of her mother, she creates all kinds of natural, flavorful concoctions of lip products – and by the looks of her website and Instagram page, is having fun doing it!

 

We love seeing young people turn a passion into a business. We're blown away at  her creativity and commitment, and thank her for continuing to choose Change 4a Dollar!
